2nd Quarter 2012 News

This quarter's news is filled with academic achievements, sex (gender) and honey.

As Sara said - "In 2002, Andrew started working on his graduate degree. Now, after 6 years of course work, 1 wedding, 4 moves, 5 jobs, 1 Master's degree, 4 kids, 1 oral exam (and 2 written), and a 300 page dissertation, he is finished with his PhD in History "

Jennifer received her law degree from Seattle U in May.

Sammy graduated from ASU with her Masters in psychology.
She and Jon will be having a baby GIRL! in October.

Tim Graduated from WSU and landed a job in his
field of marketing, in Phoenix, which plants him near my brother & family.

Gina and Kirby will be having another BOY! That makes 3.

And to finish off the pregnancy trifecta,
Evan and Elisa will be adding a GIRL! to their family.
Boy, girl, boy, girl.

 In other news:
                   Lily turned 14!

I'm going resist the temptation to say the obvious, like, "Where has the time gone?" or "They grow up so fast."
So I'll quote the beautiful Patti Griffin song and say - "Time keeps moving from a crawl to a run."

You should listen to it for yourself.
While we're on the topic of life zipping by -
Safety Man and I were married 23 years on May 13th.
I picked a good one.

That's enough milestones. Now onto the real  big news.
SM started a sweet, new hobby this spring. It's all the buzzzzz.

                                                                     Honeybees.
You can read more about them here.

They are fascinating creatures.
And that's all the news that's fit to print.
Spoiler alert: Next quarter's news will have wedding pictures.

Not your average dog.

                                                              Kicks loves his ball
                                                                               a lot.
                                                              He doesn't play fetch.
He plays - This is my ball. Stay away.
                                                               Especially YOU , cat.
But when Lily 1 & Lily 2 sleep in the tent....
...he puts away childish things and becomes a protector,
                                                         guarding his post all night,
until they are safely in the house and he can relax.

He is such a good dog.
